Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the existing .NET Framework code to understand the overall architecture, code structure, connectivity to database, apps, APIs, etc
• Work closely with the client development team / architect to identify key dependencies, risks / issues, if any.
• Understand and agree upon coding standards, testing process etc with client development team / architect.
• Lead discovery (with onboarding support from the client development team / architect) to identify the modules for migration / upgrade, and create a plan for sequence and timeline for the migration.
• Migrate the identified modules as per the sequence / plan from .Net framework to .Net core.
• Test the code as per the agreed standards to avoid regressions or downtime in production code.
• .NET expertise, including experience architecting and leading complex .NET migrations.
• Experience in code Migrations from .NET Framework to Core.
• Ideally experience writing transition pieces in .NET Standard that will let Framework and Core code work together.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 8+ years of experience
