AWS Architect

Job Description:

Contract Duration: 6 Months+

Location: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Lead technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions
• Hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions
• Collaborate with Software Engineering team to execute proof of technologies
• Provide architecture direction for engineers in support of a technical pattern
• Display strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principles and technology modernization
• Drive continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt
• Foster a partnership with Software Engineering team
• Identify opportunities to capitalize on technology advances through analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential impact on the enterprise
• Participate in defining target state technology architecture and roadmaps
• Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with the target state
• Build a strong partnership with engineering to ensure proper alignment of skills with technology direction
• Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role
• Strong understanding of FinOps practices highly desired
• Proficiency in leading technology proof of concepts and prototyping
• Excellent knowledge of modern architecture principles and technology trends
• Ability to drive technology transformation initiatives
