Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Consumer Products industry. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that are revolutionizing the industry. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications and platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the creation of systems that will significantly impact our operations and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2 and IAM.
  • Implementing authentication and user management solutions using Amazon Cognito.
  • Writing, testing, and debugging code in Python, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Leveraging Docker for the creation, deployment, and running of applications.
  • Working with Linux-based systems for the development and deployment of applications.
  • Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and cloud deployment.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improve existing ones.
  • Ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications and platforms.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployment.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain current and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
  • Proven experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 and IAM.
  • Solid experience in implementing user management and authentication solutions with Amazon Cognito.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems.
  • Experience in using Docker for application creation, deployment, and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with new technologies and industry trends.
  • AWS certification is a plus.
