Azure SQL DBA / Developer

Job Description:

NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an Azure SQL DBA / Developer to join our client’s team. This is a remote, direct hire position. Candidate should reside in Florida.

SALARY: $120K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience managing Microsoft Azure SQL Databases
• Knowledge of Git and TFS platform
• 7+ years of experience
• Ability to understand data models and work with large datasets

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build database systems of high availability and quality
• Design and implement databases in accordance with business requirements
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
• Build and maintain Job Scheduler system
• Cataloging and Deployment of code from development team
