Core Java Developer

We are currently seeking a skilled Java Developer for a W2 contract position in Plano, TX. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions using Core Java. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in multiple design techniques and demonstrate proficiency in various software engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Core Java development skills and best practices to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, utilizing common frameworks to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, showcasing versatility in coding abilities.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of software engineering disciplines, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and software improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in Core Java development and software design techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practical experience in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) principles.
• Demonstrated understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure software quality.
• Experience with Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
