Job Description:

Our Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs using Microsoft Azure API management, data solutions using Azure Synapse & ADLS Gen2. Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand the requirements and design APIs that meet business needs. Responsible for ensuring that APIs are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and implement APIs using Microsoft Azure API management
• Design, develop, and implement data solutions using Azure Synapse & ADLS Gen 2
• Work with business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand the requirements and design APIs that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain API proxies, policies, and products in Azure API management
• Implement and manage API gateways to support automation and integration of cloud services
• Monitor and troubleshoot APIs to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful delivery of APIs
• Develop and implement data pipelines using Azure Synapse & ADLS Gen2

Knowledge and Skill:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure API management, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen 2, and ETL processes
• Strong knowledge of API Development, API Proxies, and API gateways
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other stakeholders
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred
• Experience of data integration and data warehousing is preferred

Knowledge and Skill:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math or a related IT field or equivalent work experience in an IT field required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing APIs using Microsoft Azure API Management and data solutions using Azure Synapse & ADLS Gen 2
