ASP.NET Developer

Job Description:

SNI Technology's top client is actively seeking to hire a talented, ASP.NET Developer for an exciting contract opportunity! Please note that this position offers 100% remote work opportunities during the core hours of 9am-4pm MT.

ASP.NET DEVELOPER - FULLY REMOTE - CONTRACT POSITION

As an ASP.NET Developer, you will be responsible for front end and back-end web development work using C#, ASP.NET technologies, and Blazor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (% of Time)

• Design and develop applications and services with a small scrum team that focuses on next generation design and management tools for component manufacturers in the wood structure building ecosystem. Development will primarily be in C# for Microsoft web and desktop technologies utilizing .NET technologies, Blazor, T-SQL, and ASP.NET, etc. (85%)
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives as part of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle. (15%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or have relevant years of experience is required.
• 7+ years developing with C#, TSQL, ASP.NET, ASP.Net Core MVC, and REST Web Services is required
• UI development using HTML/JS, CSS are required.
• Experience using Blazor is a great plus.
• Angular, React, and/or Vue is a plus.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio or VS Code IDE and SQL Management Studio.
• Experience with dependency injection using IOC containers required.
• Experience with automated unit testing patterns and tools.
• Jenkins/Team City build server or Azure DevOps knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of MSBuild and PowerShell is a plus.
• Microsoft Azure certification is a plus.
• JIRA/Confluence.
• Agile development a plus

• Building industry experience a plus
• Attention to detail and time management
• Communicate well, both verbally and in writing, creating accurate documentation, sharing information and ideas with others

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job requires up to 0% domestic travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, W2 contract position is located in Boulder, Colorado or 100% fully remote with availability during core hours of 9am to 4pm MT.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The compensation for this position is in the range of $50 to $69 per hour during the contract duration of the assignment. Please note your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience - talk with your recruiter to learn more.
